WACKY WEEKEND

Car Boots, eBay, Paid Surveys etc

Well after a hectic Bank Holiday weekend, coming back to work with a thump!! :0(

Saturday was a 'blob' day where we stayed in jarmies, done arts n crafts, a bit of washing, surfed the net and watched a bit of TV.

Sunday, my daughter and I were up at 4am getting ready to joint the queue's to Nevendon Car Boot (off A127, Basildon/Wickford turn off http://www.carbootsaledirectory.co.uk/car-boot-sales-essex/nevendon-boot-sale/) With a discounted entrance fee of £8 (with voucher.  Normally £10 a car for your pitch).  A bit nippy but warmed up ok.  Trading was slow for me and not many sellers or buyers.  We had packed up and gone by midday.

Monday, again we were both up at 4am and this time joined the queue to Sadlers Car Boot (A13, Sadlers Farm Roundabout http://www.carbootsaledirectory.co.uk/car-boot-sales-essex/sadlers-hall-car-boot-sale-basildon-saturdays-and-bank-holidays/).  With an entrance fee of £10 (no voucher and no discount being a bank holiday).  Both of us very tired but we enjoy doing the car boots.  Better days' trading as alot more buyers and not too many sellers.  Doubled what I made Sunday.  Started spitting with rain around 11.30 so we decided to pack up.  Was home by midday.

The afternoons were spent doing chores around my flat and then spend some quality time with my daughter.  DVD's (iRobot, Batman & Disney Channel movies), duvet and lots of cuddles :0)

Sold a few items on eBay too over the weekend which was good.  The only downfall is you have to wait up to 21 days to get your money released from PayPal. 3 weeks to wait for quick cash sales ........ Boooooo!!!! Hasn't stopped me from listing more items, just have to live with the 3 week wait.  Going to list more this week.

5 day working week ahead of me as working Saturday too.  Looking forward to this weekend coming as I have my bestest mate Shelley coming over to stay.  Have not seen her in months!!

Have had a play on the 'Paid Surveys' sites but nothing has materialised yet.  I will still continue to complete as many surveys as I can by the weekend and give my verdict on it next weekend.
